NATURAL GLOWING GODDESS FACE AND BODY MASK

Cleopatra’s favorite beauty treatment was bathing in milk, honey, and roses. This enchanting combination will nourish, moisturize, exfoliate, and invigorate your skin to a gorgeous glow.

Use this decadent whole body mask for soft milk-and-honey skin that radiates with a gorgeous goddess glow.

Ingredients For full body masks

  • Petals of 2 roses
  • 1⁄2 cup honey
  • 3⁄4 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)
  • 1 cup almond meal

What you will need

Blender, rubber spatula, mixing bowl, measuring cups, fork

How To Prepare

Place the rose petals, honey, and cream into the blender and mix on low until you have a uniform blend.

Place the creamed roses in the mixing bowl, using the rubber spatula to remove as much as possible from the blender.

Add the almond meal and stir with a fork until you have a uniform consistency.

Add more cream or almond meal, a little at a time as necessary to achieve a spreadable paste.

How To Preserve

This is best used fresh. Plan to prepare this recipe just before your spa treatment. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator and use up within a day or two.

How To Use

For best results, take a quick shower or use after a long soak in the tub.

The warmth of the shower will open your pores and the moisture on your skin will provide a conduit for the mask to start working faster and more effectively.

Towel dry and apply to skin in small, upward motions. Start with your body and finish with your face.

Once you are covered from head to toe, massage the scrub in small circular motions, starting with the legs and arms, making your way up to the torso, ending at your heart.

Then move to your face, avoiding the eye area. Massage your face with light pressure, using circular motions.

Allow to set on your body for up to 30 minutes and up to 15 minutes on your face. To remove, get in the shower and rinse well.

For maximum benefit, do not use soap to wash off the residual oils. Towel dry and mist your face with Old-Fashioned Rosewater to close the pores
